My choice of color palettes and characteristic brushwork is a shared visual language that developed from being born into a life under surveillance, displacement, and restricted movement.
Like many other contemporary Palestinian artists, rather than depicting events literally, we use symbols, fragmented forms, and emotional expression to communicate our lived experiences — our way of documenting, resisting, and surviving through Art.
